As neighbors, we wanted to share some exciting news with you. In a partnership with King Conservation District, we are beginning a four-year phased project (with a full commitment of 15+ years) to protect and restore the wetlands on our property. ...we partner with a growing number of friends, both on our campus and in our neighborhood. Our in-building partners include Inglemoor Co-Op Preschool, Cub Scout Packs 564 and 565, Girl Scouts, Kenmore and Kirkland Classical Conversations, and a long list of other neighborhood organizations that make use of our meeting space. In the wider community, we have active partnerships with Community Serve Day every August, Attain Housing, Bridge Ministries, Hopelink, and others, and emergency response partnerships with the City of Kirkland, CERT, and ARES.
(Fridays once each month: check Facebook Events tab for dates)
Cascadia College is a magnet for students from around the world who want to learn English in the Seattle area. Join them for a meal at IPC for conversation and connection. Kids do great at this and have a great time - bring them!
As you're able, we ask $5 to defray the cost of the meal. Email email@example.com
We all have busy schedules, but join your neighbors once a month to prepare and share a meal in the IPC Choir Room - just come, cook, and eat! No experience necessary. Children are welcome. Learn, eat, share stories and swap recipes!
Open to anyone in the community. Meets in Tindall Hall (downstairs) in the West end of the building.
Partnerships with the City of Kirkland and others for Emergency Preparedness. There is a lot to share about this dynamic undertaking. Check out the City of Kirkland's page for more information and get involved!
On 1st and 3rd Monday nights (at 6:30pm) we gather at IPC to go out to find people sleeping outside. We offer them sandwiches, dry socks, and other things -- but most of all, prayer and friendship. Over the course of a nearly two‑hour drive, a group might travel to 4 to 6 different locations, providing for practical needs, and building friendship through conversation and prayer. We aim to reach our homeless friends in this area with the friendship God has shown us. To the extent we understand God’s grace, we will embrace others without fear, without pride, without shame, without condescension. Tag along, lend a hand!
